About us
Meet Oka Pastini
The person behind Bali Yoga House.
I am Oka Pastini, a Balinese yoga teacher born and raised in a remote village in Bali, where I grew up deeply rooted in local traditions and culture. Since 2019, I have been teaching yoga across Bali, throughout the Indonesian archipelago, and across Europe.
As the Balinese woman behind Bali Yoga House, I was inspired to create an online platform rooted in Tri Hita Karana — the traditional wisdom of harmonious living. In addition to my online offerings, I am available for private sessions in Bali and welcome invitations to teach internationally.
To support my teaching practice, I hold certifications in 500-hour Hatha Yoga as well as 100-hour Aerial Yoga and Yin Yoga. I have also completed intensive Bikram Yoga training in Bali and deepened my practice in Rishikesh, India. In 2015, I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Literature. Eleven years later, in 2026, I began pursuing a Master’s degree in Tourism, Culture, and Religion, where I study tourism centered around Balinese culture, yoga, Indian philosophy, and Hinduism.
Before dedicating myself fully to yoga, I spent more than ten years working in corporate job, from a journalist at one of Bali’s pioneering media to working in Public Relations for local and international hotel chains.
Today, I live in Bali with my rescue dog and cats, writing books, continuing my academic studies, and sharing my yoga practice while always seeking opportunity to explore meaningful places around the world.
Our vision
Creating a global home for everyone to gain awareness towards our trueself, animals and nature, using yoga and Balinese wisdom Tri Hita Karana, as a path of compassion. 🐾
